Academic Curriculum

Scholastic - Introduction

Mahatma Gandhi had said "True education must correspond to the surrounding circumstances”.

For education to be truly meaningful, it has to fit into the context of the society in which it is given and be relevant to the times it is given. Students need to know and understand the world in which they are living today and interact with it and change it for the better. Schools also need to understand that the world is changing rapidly and in multitudinous ways. Schools need to prepare our children to be ready for the world of tomorrow and to meet the challenges of the future.

As Martin Luther King said, “The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true education.”

National Public School has always been known for academic excellence and rigour. We continue in the same vein as we began more than 60 years ago. It will always be our effort to provide students with an education that will prepare them to grow academically and contribute positively to our society and country.
