Competition Overview

• Participants: Grades 9 - 12
• Team Composition: 4 students per team (one team per school)
• Duration: 3 min - presentation + 2 min - Q & A

Rules and Guidelines

• Submit Your Description:
Write a synopsis for the model (150-200 words) and its scientific principle and upload an image /sketch .Use of commercially available kits will lead to disqualification.
• Models to be made of eco-friendly and biodegradable materials only.
• A working or static model with technical or non-technical solution that creatively demonstrates the scientific principle, and solution to a problem from the selected theme.
• Dimension of the model: Not to exceed 36x24x12 inches space.

Selection Criteria

Creativity and Novelty

• Unique and creative prototype / model showcasing technology which has some competitive advantage over existing ones.

Sustainability

• It provides a sustainable solution to problems we encounter in our environment.

Real-world impact

• The solution to the selected problem and scope of its applicability in future.

Articulation

• The confidence and clarity with which the team can explain or present his/her model to the judges.
