Video-Making Competition
Through the Lens of Science!
Unleash your creativity in Science! Use dance, drama, props and animation to craft an engaging and imaginative 3- minute video, explaining a scientific principle or phenomenon. Whether inspired or ignited by your own curiosity, judges are looking for scientific accuracy, originality and compelling presentations.
Competition Overview
- Participants: Grades 9 - 12
- Team Composition: 4 students per team (one team per school)
Duration
- Submit your 3-minute video explaining at least 1 scientific concept.
Scientific Principle
- The video must illustrate a specific scientific principle(s).
- Teams should submit a brief description (150-200 words) of the scientific principle they are demonstrating, explaining its relevance and how it is depicted in their video.
Rules and Guidelines
- The entry must be the entrant's original work and it does not infringe any copyright of any person.
- The entry must not contain obscene, violent, defamatory, objectionable, insulting or any of the controversial and inappropriate content.
- The entrant must ensure information provided is correct and genuine.
- The name of the file containing the video should have the details in the following order (Title of the video, School name)
- The video should be in MP4 format not exceeding 500MB.
- All decisions made by the judging panel are final.

Resonating ideas in daily life which can arouse public interest.
Production and presentation:
The confidence and clarity with which the team can explain or present his/her video to the judges.
