Competition Overview

  • Theme : Promoting Civic Sense in India
  • Participants : Grades: 8, 9 and 10
  • Team Composition: 8-10 students per team (one team per school)
  • Duration: 8-10 min

Only the first 10 entries/registrations will be accepted.

Rules and Guidelines

  • The presentation should be in the form of a Street Play.
  • The medium of performance to be in English.
  • Costumes should be appropriate and support the theme.
  • Portable props that can be carried by participants are permitted. Minimal props are encouraged to maintain the essence of street theatre.
  • Use of offensive language, discriminatory content or remarks is strictly prohibited.
  • Recorded dialogues are not permitted. All dialogues to be delivered live.
  • Decision of the judges will be final and binding.

Judging Criteria

Innovation and Originality of Idea

  • Unique interpretation of the theme

Relevance to Theme

  • Effective communication of the intended message

Script and Content

  • Meaningful dialogue and impactful conclusion

Acting and Expression

  • Voice projection, body language, emotional expression and stage presence

Team Coordination

  • Synchronisation among performers and smooth transition
